When I first arrived in early November it was just starting to get cold. I must admit I was feeling uninspired to get outside and be active but given I had no job, and huge chunks of my day to fill, inevitably I turned to exercise.
So I’m pretty big on keeping fit and healthy. When I was living in Melbourne I pretty much stuck to the same routine all year round. Swimming has always been my favourite, followed by running and then I would usually add in a bit of yoga or some strength exercises to finish off the week.
And in Melbourne, while it can get quite cold on those winter mornings, it never really gets so cold that you can’t do one of the above-mentioned things.

One common question people ask me when they discover I’m an Aussie living in a small Austrian town is: “How did you end up here?”
And the answer is, of course, a love story.
Right? Who wants to read the story about the girl that travelled the world and met her soulmate along the way?
