I am a lover of chips – a chip lover, you could say. You can put chocolate in front of me and I can keep my cool… but chips… I have absolutely no control. My favourite chips before Austria were Samboy salt and vinegar, crinkle cut, of course. And I still love salt and vinegar chips – but it’s hard to remain in love when there are literally three people in the whole country that share the same enthusiasm.
And I’m not saying I have moved on, but I have found something in Austria equally as good.
These.
They have already featured in one post. But honestly, they are the bomb, they deserve it. We (not just me, hubby loves them also) love them so much that we keep an apocalypse-esque quantity in the cellar for emergencies… and when I say emergencies… I just mean the weekend.
Recently we were on the way home from our supermarket run when we passed by the house of friends of ours – they were out front so we stopped to chat. In peeking through the back window to see numerous packets of chips, they commented that we were obviously having a party.
We went along with it… But it was a lie… There was no party.
It was just our standard weekend stock-up.
So hey, if you’re in Austria, go to Hofer, try these chips.
Paprika Chips are what I miss the most about being back in Australia!
haha. Yeah… I can’t remember seeing Paprika flavoured anything in Australia!
Only paprika is paprika flavoured here!
Hilarious 🙂
